Hasiba Hasin Royesh, 21
Community Advisory Board Member
Hasiba Hasin Royesh, a former member of the student council at Marefat High School in Kabul Afghanistan and now, with the support of 30 Birds, settled in Virginia US, is a St. Timothy High School graduate and Computer Science and Engineering student at Bucknell University. She actively contributes to Bucknell’s Women in STEM club and TEAM mentorship program. She is also a proud member of the Global Student Council (GSC) at The University of Virginia (UVA).
To add to her impressive track record so far Hasiba has interned at the Car Free Diet organization in Arlington, Virginia, where she organized events to reduce pollution and preserve the environment.
Additionally, she has worked as a counselor for the Leadership Advancement Program (LEAP), a two-week summer camp empowering Afghan students in the US in English, leadership, web designing, and team building.
