Homelands Concert 
In Aid of 30 Birds Foundation

To mark World Refugee Day, performers at The Royal Academy of Music will be hosting a fundraising concert in support of the 30 Birds Foundation on the evening of 20th June 2022. 

 

This concert gala will include the actor Sir Simon Russell Beale, singers Mary Bevan MBE, Ian Bostridge CBE, pianist Malcolm Martineau OBE, Royal Academy Opera singer Wonsick Oh and pianist Aron Goldin

 

Homelands will include music by Robert Schumann, Franz Schubert, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Emmanuel Chabrier, Henri Duparc, Gabriel Fauré and Hugo Wolf – as well as poetry from around the world on the theme of exile.  

 

£150,000 in donations has already been raised for 30 Birds by the concert, which will go to fund the evacuation of 210 girls from Islamabad to Canada.

In Person:Our on-site Box Office counter will be open one hour before a performance’s scheduled start time, and will close 30 minutes after the performance's scheduled start time.  There will be a free livestream of the concert, which can be accessed via the above link on the night of the concert.
